How StickIt guides are written and verified
This page explains what the ownership, review, source, and update labels on our guides mean—and what they do not mean.
Ownership and review labels
A byline such as “StickIt Content Team” identifies the internal organisational team responsible for that guide; it is not presented as a named individual. A review label appears only when the guide record explicitly declares a reviewer.
Product facts and sources
Prices, sizes, delivery, installation, and product-family statements should come from current StickIt product configuration or a dated source shown in the guide. A source link shows what was checked and the date on which it was checked. Commercial details can change, so the linked product or policy page remains the final place to confirm them before ordering.
Evidence and limitations
We do not infer a customer test, named expert, or hands-on review when it was not recorded. Worked examples, configuration checks, and product demonstrations are labelled for what they are, together with their limitations.
Translations
Translation tools or drafting assistance may help adapt a guide between Hebrew and English. The translated guide remains tied to the same recorded product facts, sources, evidence method, and review history as the source guide. Translation does not create new evidence or imply an additional review.
AI-assisted drafting and editing
AI tools may assist with outlines, early drafts, translation, or copy editing. They are never listed as an author or reviewer. Product claims still need a declared configuration or dated source, and a team review label is shown only when that review was actually recorded. We do not claim that every guide has completed human review.
Legacy guide review queue
Fifteen legacy guide records are currently in a documented review queue because their earlier records did not capture an author, reviewer, or sources. Until a real review is completed and recorded, those missing labels stay absent. We do not fill the gaps with placeholder people, teams, or sources.
Updates and corrections
The modified date should change only after a substantive editorial or factual update. If you spot an error or an unclear product claim, email us and include the guide URL so the team can review it.
